This very elaborate and striking desk has a four small drawer superstructure, with central shelf. Over an inset green leather and gold tooled writing surface.
The drawer fronts are decorated with profusely carved Lion mask handles, surrounded by scrolls. All original locks are present.
The desk is constructed entirely from solid oak, making it very heavy and robust.
Lovely rich warm colour to the oak, with a glowing warm patina.
The pedestals stand on a plinth base, and original castors.
In excellent antique condition, having general expected signs of use, but very minor. No Key.
Dismantles to four parts, so very easy to transport and move.
