Quality Victorian Golden Oak Antique Pedestal Desk

This Quality Victorian Golden Oak Antique Pedestal Desk circa, 1890 has a rectangular moulded top with a burgundy tooled leather writing insert, above a long drawer and over knee hole. Each pedestal has four graduating mahogany lined drawers with period brass handles. This quality desk stands on a moulded plinth with castors, the back of this desk has been finished so may be placed in the centre of the room if so desired, and it also splits into three sections for easy removal. The oak is finished to a wonderful golden shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
