Description

A late 19th Century French solid walnut directors desk in excellent condition, the top fitted with a new black leather inset with blind and gold tooling. This beautiful colour desk has seven solid lined drawers with hand cut dovetail joints and a file cupboard in the guise of drawers.

The two pedestals are supported by hand carved 'barley twist' columns.

Special features include fielded raised panel sides and drawer fronts.

A decorative and versatile piece of 19th cent furniture that would grace either a traditional or contemporary home.
