Description

A magnificent antique Edwardian coal scuttle with extensive carving to the front and solid brass carry handles. In richly figured honey coloured oak it has a recessed top and a beautifully carved front panel and ornate brass carry handles to the sides. The lid lifts up to reveal storage space for coal, logs etc and comes complete with liner. A superb quality item dating from circa 1900.

Marks and scuffs commensurate with age. Quite a few scuffs underneath the lid – coal stains to inside.
