English Antique Chinoiserie Desk. Probably by Gillows.

This beautiful, Edwardian antique desk is such superb quality, almost certainly made by Gillows of Lancaster around 1900.

All the paintwork and chinoiserie decorations are completely original.

The four legs are cabriole in shape, the desk or side table is solid oak and the two drawers to the front each have the lock and keys.

The top has a later, clean leatherette surface inset.

A very attractive, English country house antique chinoiserie desk in fabulous condition.
