19th Century Antique Nursery Fire Guard.

This good quality 19th century antique fire guard has interesting provenance, it was recently removed from the late Arthur Ransome's house in the Lake District. Ransome was the author of the famous Swallows and Amazons books.

This brass topped antique nursery fire guard is in very intact condition, all the wirework is perfect, it stands on three squat brass bun feet.
