Fine large example of the classic Edwardian roll top desk c.1905. In solid oak, panelled and polished on all sides, the tambour top slides open to reveal a good sized work space and a fitted interior featuring 11 docket drawers with original blass label holder handles, plus pigeon holes, stationery drawers and pen trays. On graduated drawer pedestals, with writing slides to each and a single drawer to the kneehole. The bottom right hand drawer is double height for files (and bottles!). All the drawers are locked automatically when the top is closed.
