Description

A particularly fine, original and large example dating from around 1860. This desk has not been excessively used and is in fine original condition with original wooden knobs and all original locks. The mahogany lined drawers all run smoothly and show no signs of wear. The desk has been through our workshops for cleaning and restoration where needed and is in pristine condition throughout and ready for service in the home or prestigious office.

The partner configuration is nine drawers on one side and three drawers and two cupboards on the reverse. A newly fitted black hide with gold and blind tooling makes this a very desirable and attractive package.

Dimensions: 6” wide, 3’6” deep, 30” high. The kneehole is 36” wide and 23 ¾” high.
