It’s hard to find words to adequately describe the quality of this desk.
Everything about this desk screams quality. The high quality brass handles and locks by Hobbs of London are all original, as is the rest of the desk, being completely original with no restoration, or even re-polishing, except for replacing the leather skiver, which has been replaced by ourselves to match the colour and tooling of the original.

Stamped by the maker, James Shoolbred of Tottenham Court Road, London, on all three top drawers.
Dimensions: 52’ wide x 29” deep. Working surface 30” high but overall height 45 ½”. The kneehole is 23” high x 25” wide.
