Quality Victorian Warm Walnut Antique Pedestal Desk

This Quality Victorian Warm Walnut Antique Pedestal Desk dates from ca. 1880 and has a rectangular moulded top with green tooled leather writing insert above a central drawer over kneehole. Each pedestal has four graduating drawers with pierced brass handles and the desk benefits from being able to be split into three sections for removal, so will fit into most homes with ease. It is a super quality piece, with a finished back, so can be placed in the centre of a room if so desired and has aged to a wonderful warm shade of walnut with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
