Description

A nice Victorian pedestal desk in mahogany and measuring 4ft wide. Featuring flame mahogany veneers to the drawers fronts, locks to each drawer and turned knob handles. This is a nice size and the drawers are large enough to take A4 papers. It is in good condition and has been cleaned and polished using a traditional wax finish but has picked up some marks and chips/nibbles over the years. The dark red rexine writing surface is slightly unstuck on a corner but we will reglue this if it is not to be replaced. It comes with a key which works all but one of the locks on the lower drawers and it is also fitted with brown pottery castors. This desk is designed to stand against a wall and as such is not finished on the back.
