This quality Large Oak Antique Pedestal Desk dates from ca.1930 and has aged to a wonderful shade of golden oak.
The left pedestal has four graduating drawers with the original brass swan neck handles whilst the right pedestal has two over one deep double file drawer again with the original brass swan neck handles. The sides and backs are panelled and finished so the desk can be place in the centre of a room if so desired. It stands on a moulded plinth and splits into three sections for removal. The desk has aged to a wonderful golden oak shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
