George I Style Shaped Burr Walnut Desk

1900 - 1920
Description

Circa 1920, George I style shaped front burr walnut desk. The large top has its original tan leather and is crossbanded in burr walnut. Beneath the top is one long drawer and two drawers either side of it with herringbone crossbanding and cast brass drop handles in the form of a tear drop with a large back plate. The drawers have oak liners. The desk stands on bold cabriole supports with stylish pad feet. Lovely colour and patina.
