A genuine late 19th century French ladies writing desk.

The desk measures some 40 ins wide .

The desk has a Paris retailer's stamp in the centre drawer (see picture).

The original leather shows signs of its use for over 100 years however this could be replaced should that be required (at the purchasers expense.)

There are no breaks, cracks or woodworm and the desk stands strong and robust.
