This Unusual Antique Pitch Pine Victorian Pedestal Desk dates from ca. 1890 and is full of charm and character from over 100 years of use.
The left hand pedestal has four graduating drawers with the original decorative handles whilst the right hand pedestal has a beautifully figured cupboard door with one central fixed shelf. This characterful desk stands on a moulded plinth and the pitch pine has aged to a warm shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing
