An excellent quality, early 19th century, English country house fire guard, unusual, with having the extra brass hanging rail, this is known as the nappy rail, as these fire guards were used the nursery.

In superb, complete and original condition, a lovely model.

This antique brass and wirework fire/spark guard is now in our antiques showrooms in Clitheroe, Lancashire.
