Quality Victorian Walnut Antique Pedestal Desk with Leather Top

This Quality Victorian Walnut Antique Pedestal Desk dates from ca. 1890. It has a rectangular moulded top with central maroon tooled leather writing insert above a central walnut lined drawer over knee hole. Each pedestal has four drawers with moulded edges and swan neck handles. The desk stands on a moulded plinth with castors and the back of the desk is finished so maybe placed in the centre of a room if so desired. It splits into three sections, aiding removal and is a rich warm medium shade of walnut with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
