Every single antique dealer on our platform is individually approved by our internal team. We verify their professional trade history, ethical standards, and photographic quality to ensure a secure, high-standard buying environment. Upon joining, every dealer agrees to a strict 9-point code of conduct. While issues can occasionally arise, our dealers typically resolve them swiftly and directly with the buyer. In fact, since our founding in 2002, Sellingantiques has only had to step in to help resolve an issue on roughly five occasions—a true testament to the quality of our dealers and their dedication to your happiness.
Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.

Tudric is a brand name for pewterware produced by Haselers of Birmingham for Liberty & Co of London during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Designed predominantly by key figures of the Arts and Crafts and Art Nouveau movements, such as Archibald Knox, it bridged craft design and commercial manufacturing.

Tudric pewter used a specific alloy formulation containing silver, which gave the metal a brighter, resilient lustre compared to traditional lead-heavy pewter alloys. The pieces were cast and finished with hammered, pierced, or relief-moulded decoration typical of Celtic Revival and Art Nouveau styles.

Authentic pieces generally feature stamped numerical model numbers on the base alongside the Tudric or TUDRIC PEWTER name. Look for signature stylized organic motifs, geometric knotwork, and high-quality casting crispness standard to Liberty production.

Display the item as a focal point on a wooden sideboard, console, or dining table. Its neutral metallic tone complements dark timber surfaces, stone finishes, and minimalist ceramic arrangements.

Dust regularly with a dry, soft cloth and clean occasionally using warm water with mild dish soap. Avoid harsh chemical polishes or abrasive scrubbers, as preserving the natural aged patina and surface oxidisation maintains historical character.
