An Early Victorian Pedestal Desk

Description

An early Victorian eleven drawer mahogany pedestal desk. This is possibly a Civil Service desk as the top has brass plates in it inscribed 'House of Commons' and 'House of Lords' It would work well as a reception hall desk or just as well as on office desk. Thumb nail moulded edge to the top. Plinth base to the pedestals and mahogany sides. Original brass locks. Cedar lined drawers. The top and pedestals separate for transportation.

106 cms wide by 55 deep and 74 cms high. Knee height 59.5 cms.
