This fine quality, Victorian Mahogany Antique Desk dates from ca. 1870 and is of good large proportions, so ideal for the modern day office.
Each pedestal has four graduating drawers that are mahogany lined, so is a quality built piece and has fine decorative oval brass handles. The desk stands on a moulded plinth with castors and has a finished back so maybe placed in the centre of a room if so desired. It splits into three sections to aid removal and is a rich medium mahogany with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
