Carved Limewashed Centre of Room Kneehole Desk.

1900 - 1920
Description

We are offering this piece of furniture which is lime washed oak or maybe cherry wood.

There are signs of original gilding .

The whole piece stands strong and sturdy. No woodworm or cracks.

This piece was made to be displayed in the centre of a room as the decorative carving is on all sides however it can be used as a side table or side board or of course a centre of the room desk.

We were lucky enough to obtain this piece in France however we are still unsure of its provenance.

The measurements are
