In front of the stationary box is a lift up lid having an inset red leather writing surface, opening to reveal a storage area.
The lower cabinet section is made of rosewood with a single door which opens to reveal a single fixed shelf storage area.

The mahogany and rosewood has lovely figuring, with much warmth and richness to the wood.

The overall condition is very good, with general expected signs of age and use, signs of use to the red writing surface, overall only very minor.
