Victorian Walnut Davenport with Inlay

19th century
Description

A late victorian walnut davenport with decorative inlay to top and front elevations. The box top has a galleried hinged lid enclosing a recessed ogee fitted stationery compartment. The hinged slope has an inset maroon gilt tooled leather enclosing a compartment fitted with two drawers. There are four drawers to one side with dummy drawers to the opposing side. The davenport has bun feet and castors.

Measurements are:

Width 55 cms X 55 cms X 85 cms high

The davenport may be viewed by appointment - near m1 j13 - just off the a5 at bletchley. We can be contacted on 07960 082675
