E W Cousins and Son has dated this piece to the 1910s.
The banding runs down to sloped lids to compartments with one having pen and inkwell compartments these flank concave shaped cupboard doors having oval flared panels with strung frames same panels to the central door which is flanked by 6 oak lined drawers all having satinwood banded edges and brass oval plate ring handles. All surrounding a leather writing surface. Three oak lined drawers below having the same banding and handles. Strung panels above the square strung tapered legs sitting on brass castors. The bowed back with 3 panels to top section having banded frames with strung divisions. The same to the base which also has a moulded edge.
54" wide 26 1/2" deep
30" high + 11" high back.
