Fine Quality 18th Century Chinese Famille Rose Plate Chien Lung 1736 - 1795

As part of our oriental collection we are delighted to offer this fine quality hexagonal Chinese 18th century plate decorated in the fammile rose pallet, this super quality plate has a central scene with multiple figures tending to animals and generally going about their business with a lake side backdrop, the border is finely gilded with panels of birds amidst of floral surround, the rear of the plate has an old collectors or retailers label still in tack.

The condition of these plates is vital and we are very pleased to say that this is as near perfect as you could expect for a plate fast approaching 300 years old, no hairlines , no restorations and no rim nibbles.
