Here is a most charming and unusual Victorian clerks desk.

Made of solid oak with lots of charm and character, in a wonderful 17th century style.

This delightful desk has a lovely gallery rail to the top, with a lift-up writing slope, opening to reveal a fitted interior of several open compartments to the back.

The sides and front of this exceptional desk is decorated with a charming scoop-carved design, with a bold carved Lion to the front.

The colour is a rich dark oak, with a lovely character and patina.

The condition overall is very good, with general character signs of age and use. A couple of historical ink stains to the top near the gallery, which just add to the character and historical charm.
