Description

A Superior Victorian mahogany twin pedestal partners desk in very good condition. A fine quality and rare desk with a thumb moulded top that has a blue leather inset with blind and gold tooling. The 6 drawer top sits on two pedestals with three drawers and a cupboard each side.The graduated drawers run very smoothly and all have their original locks and eschutions. The hand cut dove tail joint drawers have quality mouldings with pretty turned knobs. The two cupboards have folder dividers and are very spacious, ideal for files etc. The desk splits in three for easy transportation.

This piece needs to be veiwed to appreciate the quality, patina and workmanship.
