Beautiful Gillows of Lancaster Antique Desk.

This 19th century antique writing/computer desk is fabulous quality as you would expect from the well known makers, Gillows of Lancaster.

The desk is made in solid antique satin birch which is a lovely colour and a has a stunning grain.

The top drawer is stamped by the makers, 'Gillows Lancaster' and it is also signed by the cabinet maker, ' James Ainsworth Lancaster'.

In excellent condition, all the drawers run freely and have the original mahogany handles and the top is fitted with a new, black leatherette which has a blind, tooled decorative edge.

This antique writing desk or computer desk dates from around 1880 and is now in Miles Griffiths antiques showrooms.
