Antique Edwardian Twin Pedestal Partner Style Desk in Mahogany with Fitted Cupboards and Three Drawers

1900 - 1920
Description

A desk which dismantles into three parts and is very well made. It has its original brass handles to the drawers and cupboards and the reverse of the desk has a series of dummy drawers and cupboards. It sits on well carved cabriole legged ball and claw feet. The fronts of the cupboards have well figured quartered panels and the desk has its original keys. The top of the desk is a dark navy leather with original tooling to the edge. Inside the two cupboards are all the original slides to the desk which are hardwood and move freely.
