This quality antique walnut desk dates from around 1890 in the Victorian period.
Each pedestal has four graduating walnut lined drawers with reeded decoration and original Arts and Crafts designed brass handles along with key escutcheons. This quality desk sits on a plain plinth with castors and has the benefit of a finished back so maybe placed in the centre of a room if so desired. It splits into three sections, aiding removal, and has aged to a lovely warm medium shade of walnut with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
