William Manners R.B.A. (1865-1940)

William Manners was born in Bradford and was a self taught artist. His oils and watercolours usually depict rural scenes and he had a very distinctive style. Later in life Manners moved to the Lake District which also proved to be a great inspiration to him. He exhibited widely and was elected a member of the R.B.A in 1893.
