Description

A Regency Design Mahogany Partners Writing Table circa 1920 in the Gillows Style. Some earlier elements have been used in the construction ie the legs are early 19C. The top with black leather inset with gilded boarder. The edge of the top is crossbanded with reeded sides. Oak lined drawers to all sides with moulded decorated fronts and brass knob handles. Long drawers to the narrow sides and short drawers flanked by dummy drawers to the long sides. Flared mahogany panels within moulded frames to all corners with reeded mouldings below running along all sides. On turned and reeded tapered legs having vase shaped feet with brass cap castors.
