Size: 10ft 10in x 3ft 6in (210 x 107cm).

Antique Kurdish or Shahsavan runner, 4 beautifully coloured medallions on an indigo field, the green is really outstanding.

4th quarter 19th century.

The indigo field is filled with shrubs, flowers and animals.

The wide border gives the runner a very dramatic feel.

The runner is slightly wider at one end.

The runner is in excellent condition with slight even wear and good pile.

Hand washed and ready for use or display.

The rug is suitable for normal domestic use.
