Size: 5ft 11in x 4ft 5in (175 x 134cm).

Antique Afshar rug of classic design

Circa 1900

Antique Afshar rug of classic design, with an indigo field containing two ivory medallions. The border is well drawn and typical of Afshar weaving. The rug has superb natural colours throughout. The rug retains short original kilim finishes at both ends.

The rug is in excellent condition with slight even wear and good pile.

Hand washed and ready for use or display.

The rug is suitable for normal domestic use.
