Royal Worcester Fruit Plate by Frank Roberts

1900 - 1920
Description

An absolutely SUPERB example ROYAL WORCESTER shaped fruit decorated plate by the renowned artist FRANK ROBERTS. He is listed in Sandons "Royal Worcester Porcelain" as a "very fine fruit painter", his work being given as examples for the apprentices to practice in their training.

A stunning piece in first class condition, no damage of any kind and no rubbing either. Gilded edge which is perfect all round.

Has the marks underneath for 1919.

As good a piece by this artist as I have seen for many a year.

SIZE; 12" by 8" by 1 1/2" high
