A Victorian Figured Walnut Freestanding Pedestal Desk C 1870

Description

A well figured Victorian walnut freestanding pedestal desk c 1870 of shaped breakfront outline.

This useful desk is a lovely rich colour with mahogany lined drawers and the original walnut knob handles. It also bears its original paper makers label to the drawer Crowe and Sons St Stephen St Norwich.

In three sections it has an arrangement of nine drawers to the front and dummy drawers and cupboards to the reverse. The top has been sympathetically re lined with a blind tooled dark green leather and the side are beautifully finished with fielded panels.

Size 53.5 ins wide 33 ins deep 30 ins high.

We have our own van and can offer well priced deliveries to all parts of the UK including weekly deliveries to London and the Home Counties.
