Mahogany Writing Desk Early 19th Century

Description

This writing desk is totally original , and is 'as was made' around 1840.

It stands on the original 4 castors , all the drawer linings are made from the finest quality oak, with the original turned handles.

The desk stands 3ft 6ins wide, 22 ins deep and 30 ins high.

We are selling this desk as an 'original piece' , so there are signs of wear as would be expected. For example the top is marked .

However, should you prefer, my cabinet maker would re-polish the top which we would include in the price.

I cannot put enough emphasis on the total originality of this desk...personally I love it as it is.....but it can be polished!
