George III Style Painted Mantelpiece

19th century
Description

Circa 1870, George III style painted mantelpiece. The substantial mantelpiece has breakfront ends and a decorated frieze with carved acanthus leaves and swags and tails. On the end there are classical ladies playing instruments. The opening is all carved and beaded and there are 2 fluted columns with capitols. Suitable for re-painting.

Overall size 140.5cm high x 189.5cm wide x 26.5cm deep.

Most items include delivery anywhere in the UK mainland.
