Mid Victorian Faded Mahogany Davenport Desk

Description

Lovely Quality solid faded mahogany desk from the mid victorian era , the slope is fitted with a new tooled tan hide , lift up the lid to reveal a fresh mahogany interior with a bank of drawers one of which has a dummy knob which when pulled releases the right hand side pull out pen tray , it has a locking door on the left which hides shelves and a locking door on the right which hides the mahogany drawers with gilt handles .

Sitting on original casters and ready for use in the home it is in lovely condition , my only observation is that it may have had a small gallery around the top at one time , difficult to tell but simple to reinstate if you choose.
