Victorian Walnut Davenport Desk

Description

Superb quality Victorian inlaid burr walnut piano front pop up davenport desk ,this desk is of the highest quality, made using the best veneers available at the time , possibly by lambs of Manchester although i cannot find a makers name.

This desk had been in the same family since it was presented in 1869 , since we have purchased it we have given it a wax polish and the walnut has burst into life , it has all its locks and keys in working order and sits on its original casters , this desk would grace any home modern or old .

It comes complete with its silver presentation plaque for 1869 which adds to its quality in our opinion.
