Superb quality antique edwardian mahogany serpentine shaped desk and dating from aorund 1900. It has a brass galleried back and a tooled leather writing surface set within a mahogany surround. It has a bow fronted central drawer with drawer to either side above a cupboard door to each pedastal all of which have wide satinwood cross banded edges with ornate brass handles and are mahogany lined. It stands on squared tapering legs with inlaid stringing and standing on brass shoe castors.
The desk is in one piece and of super quality.
Measures: 32" high X knee height 25" X 23" deep X 48" wide
In very good condition with a lovely deep colour and patination to the mahogany oozing all the charm and character of the period.
