Desk Globe Wernicke Edwardian Oak C1910 cloverleaf Home Interiors £55 Delivery Retail Quality

Here we have a beautiful and rare early Globe Wernicke solid Oak desk c1910. As you can see the desk has great colour and patina. As you will know being Globe Wernicke it is of exceptional quality. The sides and top are solid Oak as are the drawer fronts with the drawers linings made from Mahogany. There is a locking mechanism which locks all the drawers when the central one is shut. As you can see from the photos the ivorine label dates the desk to circa 1910. There are beautiful fielded panels to the sides, inside the kneehole and the back is finished in the same way so the desk can be put up against a wall or stood in the middle of a room. The leather is a rich colour and is tooled and gilded. You will notice that the desk seperates easily into two pedestals and the top for easy movement. The pedestals have plinth bases and their original casters underneath. The desk as with all my items is in excellent retail condition and ready for your home.
