Antique Jacobean Style Ebonised Oak Chest of Drawers | Bun Feet

Antique 20th century Jacobean style chest of drawers in oak, a handsome and well-proportioned piece of good quality, with a striking dark ebonised finish and plenty of period character.

It offers generous storage, with two short drawers over three long graduated drawers, each fitted with decorative brass pear drop handles on pierced foliate backplates.

The drawer fronts are applied with bold geometric mouldings in the 17th century manner, framed by a moulded overhanging top and a moulded plinth base raised on turned bun feet.

The oak has been finished in a deep ebonised tone through which the open grain still shows, giving the chest a rich, dramatic look that works equally well in traditional and contemporary interiors.

Presented in good condition, it is a very desirable and practical piece, perfect for a bedroom, landing or hallway, and would make a wonderful addition to any home.

• Your piece will be delivered to the room of your choice, provided there is suitable access. For items supplied in sections, assembly is not included as part of the delivery service.

• Our standard delivery timeframe is approximately 3–15 working days from receipt of payment. The courier will contact you directly to confirm the delivery date and provide an approximate arrival time.

• If you have any particular delivery requirements, please let us know before purchasing and we’ll do our best to accommodate them.

Collection is available free of charge from our stockroom at WR6 5JE, by appointment only. Please contact us in advance to arrange a convenient collection date and time.
