The watch has a 15-jewel hand-winding movement, calibre 12.68Z, which is working nicely.

The watch measures 30mm wide excluding the winding crown, and 30mm high excluding the fixed lugs. The watch has a Staybrite case which is an early form of stainless steel. The case is in good condition, just general light surface marks, nothing serious at all.

The lens is in lovely condition.
The silvered dial is signed with the name of the original high-end retailer, Mappin. There is some age related darkening and surface marking to the dial but still very easy to read the time.
A new leather strap has been fitted.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
