Description

Antique Edwardian side cabinet in mahogany, an elegant and well-proportioned piece of good quality, showcasing fine craftsmanship.

It is fitted with a pair of panelled cupboard doors with brass ring pull handles, opening to a divided interior with an open compartment to one side and a shelf to the other.

The doors are decorated with fine boxwood string inlay, and the cabinet has a raised ledge back to the top, standing on square tapering legs with brass castors.

The mahogany displays a lovely figured grain to the doors and top, with a warm, rich colour and a pleasing aged patina.

Presented in good condition, a very desirable and versatile piece, perfect as a small sideboard, hall cabinet or bedroom cupboard.
