Fully Restored Oversize Solid 9ct Gold Longines Calibre 280 from 1960

Description

This is a superb fully restored solid 9ct gold Longines 280 from 1960

The solid 9ct gold case is slightly oversized at 35mm in diameter excluding the crown.

The heavy solid 9ct gold case is made by Baume who were Longines main manufacturer of solid 9ct gold cases.

The movement is a calibre 280 which is very high quality, this was one of Longines highest grade movements of this period. It has been freshly serviced and is currently running at plus 5 seconds per day , not bad for a 60 year old watch. The London hallmark dates this watch to 1960.

The beautiful silver dial is totally perfect having just been professionally restored

The hands are matching gold

As you would expect the watch is fully marked on the dial, movement and case.

We can fit a different colour strap if you prefer.
