This nineteenth century Swedish bowfront buffet is a Scandinavian country sideboard made from pine with a pale wood timber colour and a natural dry finish. The nineteenth century piece features a curved bowfront outline, two cupboard doors with raised rectangular panels, and carved rope moulding down the vertical side pillars. Brass escutcheons sit on the cupboard doors alongside visible hinges and small square feet beneath the curved base rail. Measuring 99 cm high, 142 cm wide and 42 cm deep, it provides practical surface space and enclosed storage. Position this sideboard in a dining room, hallway or living space to store tableware, linens or books while displaying decorative objects on top.
