Description

Antique 20th century carved linenfold sideboard in oak, an impressive and beautifully detailed piece offering an excellent combination of storage and practicality. 

The lower section features two cupboard doors, cleverly designed to resemble drawers, with each opening to reveal a single shelf. 

At the centre are a further two cupboard doors decorated with beautiful linenfold carving, opening to a generous storage space with one large shelf. Above is one large drawer accompanied by two smaller drawers, all complemented by decorative brass handles that also feature across the cupboard doors. 

A practical pull-out brushing slide is neatly incorporated beneath the central drawer, adding another interesting feature to the design. 

The oak displays a gorgeous natural grain and lovely colour throughout, beautifully complementing the traditional carved detailing. 

Presented in good condition, this very desirable sideboard is well made and of good quality, combining generous storage with thoughtful craftsmanship. 

A wonderful addition to any home, offering plenty of character and practicality.
