Description

Antique 20th century serpentine chest of drawers in mahogany, an elegant and beautifully detailed piece distinguished by its graceful curved frontage.

Five drawers provide generous storage, comprising three large drawers and two smaller drawers, all finished by decorative brass handles that complement the mahogany beautifully.

A finely reeded edge adds subtle texture and definition, while delicate crossbanding across the surface brings another refined decorative feature to the design.

Beautiful grain and deep colour flow throughout the mahogany, emphasised wonderfully by the serpentine shape and giving the chest plenty of depth and character.

Its flowing lines and carefully considered detailing create a particularly refined appearance without feeling overly decorative.
