Antique H & R Daniel Shrewsbury Tea & Coffee Cup Trio, Handpainted, C.1825 a

19th century
Description

An antique H and R Daniel trio of teacup, coffee cup and saucer in the Shrewsbury shape, pattern 4232. Each piece is handpainted with sprays of blue roses and other flowers. Dates to c.1825 - other pieces from the same service are also available in my shop at the time of listing.

Condition report:

Chips: none

Cracks: none

Crazing: a tiny glaze line to the right hand side, where the teacup handle joins the body. Another in the loop of the handle, not going all the way across or through. A couple of further tiny lines to the top of the handle. Overall, all three pieces are free from crazing and all ring true when lightly tapped.

Restoration: none

Gilding/pattern: excellent, with only very minor wear.
